The Lobster Elite Liberty Tennis Ball Machine is the entry level tennis ball machine from Lobster (although the Lobster Elite Freedom is also sold in the USA), but it still provides a platform that would be appealing to any player looking to purchase a ball machine with a tight budget.
With a top speed of 110km/h, two to four hours court time on a single charge and manual height adjustability of up to 50°, it doesn’t match the specs offered by other Lobster machines or the Spinfire Pro 1, but it is lighter at 16kg, offers random horizontal oscillation and can produce high levels of topspin or backspin.
The Spinfire Pro 1 can produce more speed (130km/h), provide more court time (larger battery - up to 8 hours), has electric height adjustability of 60º, the choice of internal battery, external battery or AC electric power and superior spin levels.
Both of these machines offer great value for money.

2 Line Drill This is a drill which shoots one ball to the forehand, followed by a ball to the backhand, and it repeats endlessly. It will keep you running from side to side until you can take it no longer. Some machines offer this in just WIDE and NARROW, while others offer WIDE, MEDIUM and NARROW for a bit more flexibility. It's also a great drill to use when two players are practising together with a ball machine, as it will alternate firing a ball between each player.
Optional Spare Battery A spare battery is great for coaches or those heavy users who don't always have time to charge their battery between sessions, or may want even more play time than the standard minimum that each machine can provide.
